Dandy; Ima Solid Dandy, is a Breeding Stock Paint which means he is a solid color horse that has at least one parent that is a Registered Paint and the other parent may be a Registered Paint or Registered Quarter Horse. I ride him bitless and barefoot. He is so much more comfortable without shoes on and he is a dream to bridle with his Bitless Bridle. He loves not having metal in his mouth and is much more free in his movement. I do not show him; we just enjoy trailriding alone or with friends from the barn where he is boarded. We are members of the Ride America program within the American Paint Horse Association. The Ride America program is great for those of us who don't go in the show ring with our horses. It gives one a sense of accomplishment for all the hours spent riding our horses. For more information on the Bitless Bridle go to: http://www.BitlessBridle.com.
